Warmth of memories

I love winter.
Cozy cold nights remind me of you.
The peaceful and calm atmosphere prompts me to think only of you.
The memories that I have with you give me warmth and pleasure.
My mind can’t stop thinking of you.
I can do nothing but wish to have you with me at this moment.

Dear Moon

When I see you,
I find peace.
You make me feel calm.
Deep inside I feel grateful.
I can stare at you for hours.
I talk to you,
and I know you listen.
When I smile,
I know you smile back.
You are there, and you will always be there even when I will not be in this world.
You are always watching, and knowing me.
Your light lit up my heart.
I know you will never leave even if I leave.
You are a true friend.
You are a true companion.

To Find You

I don’t need the compass to find you.

Your heart beat would lead my way.

I don’t need the sun to find you.

your smile would light my way.

I don’t need the ocean to find you.

My tears would wash my way.

I don’t need the wind to find you.

your voice would whisper my way.

I don’t need the moon to find you.

Your eyes would shine my way.

But, if I never find my way I would perish.

My soul would find its way.

Talk to Yourself

Talk to yourself.

If you can’t, write it down.

Quietly and silently.

Sometimes ask yourself.

Who am I?

How am I?

Why am I?

Listen to your inner voice.

Do what your heart desire.

Talk to yourself.

If you can’t, write it down.

A short poem or you can call them thoughts that remind you of yourself.Listen to your inner voice and do what your heart desire for. You will truly feel happy and peaceful.

Don’t forget your purpose of life

Don't get so lost in the enjoyment of life.

That you forget your path, your destination and your goal.

If you have come into this world, do something.

Something for which you remain in the hearts of people,

So that when you leave this world, you live in the hearts of people forever.

Ferris wheel – what a wonder it is

I can’t describe just how I feel,
when I go round on a Ferris wheel,
the lights, they shine so bold and bright,
above the carnival grounds tonight.

My mood is uplifted into the air,
as my heart beats without a care,
I feel so free, as if I could fly,
with nothing between the ground and I.

The cool night wind flows in my hair,
the people look so small, way down there,
I hold my breath as I go over the top,
a feeling, surreal, I don’t want to stop.

As fear escapes and I enjoy the ride,
I can’t help but look down, over the side,
I am up among the stars and the moon,
an exciting feeling that ends, all too soon.

The Road Not Taken

And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

– Robert Frost

Who But God

Who but God could paint the evening sky
And use a brush that is a fiery torch?

Tonight, the garish sunset makes me high
In awe, I stand and watch it from my porch.

Who but God could make the insects sing?

Cicadas droning on with their night song
Still better yet, to sing with legs and wings.

Tonight, their cousin crickets sing along.

Who but God could hang the moon and stars?

Each star a wish, the moon a silent friend.

To light our nights as we live our memoirs.

To pull the tides and push them back again.

And yet, I understand, some don’t believe
Who but God can grant them their reprieve?

A Moment Of Happiness…

A moment of happiness,

you and I sitting on the verandah,

apparently two, but one in soul, you and I.

We feel the flowing water of life here,

you and I, with the garden’s beauty

and the birds singing.

The stars will be watching us,

and we will show them what it is to be a thin crescent moon. You and I unselfed, will be together, indifferent to idle speculation, you and I. The parrots of heaven will be cracking sugar as we laugh together, you and I. In one form upon this earth, and in another form in a timeless sweet land.

Rumi

Joys of Nature

Nature is full of wonders,
filled with mysteries and miracles to see.
It is full of fascinating things,
from incredibly tall mountains to the largest sandy beaches,
It is awe-inspiring and glorious.
From the soothing and cool breeze of dawn,
to the mystic, deep and romantic dusk,
It is aesthetically beautiful.
From the fluttering leaves, warmth tress
and twittering of birds,
It is full of cozy and astounding views.
Nature is permanently joyful and ineluctable,
we are very lucky to have this paradise on earth.
