Collect Moments not Things

Normally, I don’t make any resolutions but this time I decided to make one. As 2020 begins, I decided to make this year most special and beautiful one full of moments, joys, happiness and satisfaction. Instead of collecting material things, I decided to collect moments-that stays with us all the time in our memory.

We humans forget years but never forget moments.

Starting of this year was quite good. Well, January was giving me a feeling of never ending month because I completed most of the tasks and work related to my studies. But February is giving me a feeling of passing like a train. It’s going so fast. It seems like it started yesterday and it’s going to end tomorrow.
But I don’t care at what pace it’s going I will still gonna make every moment, every day, every month of this year the most ravishing and sparkling.
We usually spent our time and money on materialistic things. We buy expensive cloths, shoes, accessories and gadgets. Just because when we post our picture on instagram or any other social media account we would surely look dazzling and luxurious. I’m not saying that we all buy expensive things for just show-off but I believe this is the current situation of our society. Most of the people do this just for flattering other people rather making their precious moments of life entrancing.
This world and people in this world have been so much materialistic lately. They were also before but I feel like this thing has increased so far. I see almost many people doing things for making other people happy even when they’re not happy with what they’re doing But still they do.
So, Instead of spending my money on profligate things and my time on wasteful things I decided to buy experiences and blithe moments with affectionate people around me.

While you are alive collect moments not things, earn respect not money and enjoy love not luxuries.

–Aarti Khurana

From material things I meant our wants rather our needs.
Collecting moments is hundred times better then collecting things. Moments give you experiences that help us learn about ourselves and others. Surely, we learn something when we try to live in the moments. Along with it, moments are priceless you don’t need any money to buy the happiest and most satisfying moment of your life. You just have to give your attention wholeheartedly.
When we enjoy moments it create strong bonds with other people around us and we tend to know them and understand them. What can be more beautiful than having an understanding with your colleagues and friends.
Our moments never get old but our things get old with time. So, you see moments are really precious and have much more importance in our life rather material things. So, try to buy loving moments and wonderful experiences instead of things.

Fill your life with experiences, not things. Have stories to tell, not stuff to show.

So, Stay blessed and collect the moments.
Toodles ❤❤

Life is Hard but so very beautiful|A letter to life

Dear Life,

You’re a blessing for me even for all the human kind. ❤
I know sometimes I became so depressed and sad that I felt so worse. But now, I realized that what situations and circumstances you gave me was just for the betterment of myself. So, that I learn from them and get experience from those hard situations.
Sometimes you filled my days with happiness and nights with sadness and tears. But on the next day you gave me hope to live.
That hope is the cause that I’m living you life.
There were situation that made me feel worse and I said wrong words to you but that was because I was in anger.
What you did to me was always for my betterment and most importantly for the self-development.
I’m thankful to you for making me so strong, mature and experienced day by day.
And I want to say that you’re going too fast so to compete with you I have leaned to move fast.
I have also learned to let the things go. I don’t keep what’s not mine. Who will be mine will be with me. So, I’m happy and relaxed. Thank you so much for your opportunities and circumstances.
There are people around me and there existence make me feel so special and happy. Thank you for blessing me with such a wonderful people. Who sometimes let me know that not every one is your true friend so not to trust everyone.
I’m grateful to You! 😊

Your sincerely,

3 am Thoughts ❤

Walking on the floor.
Hand-free in ears, listening loud music.
Cool breeze touching my face and leaving a beautiful sense.
Thoughts are flickering in my mind.
I’m just writing down.
This hour of night is very soothing, calm and peaceful.
Stars are twinkling in the dark amd serene sky.
everything is so beautiful.
Free from all the worries.
Just take out sometime to talk to you, to be with you.
Just close your eyes
and feel this beautiful moment of night.

A place where I find Peace

All your anxiety is because of your desire for harmony. Seek disharmony then you will gain peace.

-Rumi

Sometimes I feel lost.. I don’t know who am I.

I stressed out from studies and work.

I don’t like to talk to people. I just like to remain calm.

I feel like there is no one who knows me, who understands me.

I feel like, I am all alone in this whole world.

then……….

There is only one place where I find peace. There is a mosque near my hostel. Whenever I go there, I feel like I have found everything that I have lost. I find my inner peace there. *sighs*

I close my eyes. I talk to him. He assures that He listens. He guides me. He gives me strength and make me strong..

It is the only place where I can find my peace.❤❤

Book Review – The Old Man and The Sea

The hell with Luck I’ll bring the Luck with me.

The Old Man and the Sea was a big success for Ernest Hemingway when it was published in 1952. At first glance, the story appears to be a simple tale of an old Cuban fisherman who catches an enormous fish, only to lose it. But, there’s much more to the story — a tale of bravery and heroism, of one man’s struggle against his own doubts, the elements, a massive fish, sharks and even his desire to give up. The old man eventually succeeds, then fails, and then wins again. It’s the story of perseverance and the machismo of the old man against the elements. This slim novella — it’s only 127 pages — helped to revive Hemingway’s reputation as a writer, winning him great acclaim, including the Nobel Prize for literature.

A man can be destroyed but not defeated.

This is a simple story with deep lessons “Success” is all too often assumed to be the indicator of the value of a man. But success, in and of itself, merely speaks to a particular status and may have nothing to do with the journey that the man took to get there, or whether or not he retained his integrity along the way. Among the many aspects of the story, it is the idea of redefining success and victory that makes The Old Man and the Sea, Ernest Hemingway’s classic novella, so profound.

A man is not made for defeat.

A man does not depend on luck! A man bears pain and hardship without complaint.

Good deeds always pay

Every time you do a good deed you shine the light a little farther into the dark. And the thing is when you’re gone the light is going to keep shining on pushing the shadows back.

Charles de Lint

One of the greatest things that we can do in our life is to do be good to another human being. There are many ways to bring sunshine in the lives of others. Making other people happy in turn makes us happy too and it wins us, new friends.

Have a nice day and care for people around you! 🙂

Self-empowerment| It’s okay to be proud of Yourself

The power you have is to be the best version of yourself you can be, so you can create a better world.

~Ashley Rickard

I love this quote, how it really defines the concept of Self-empowerment. It states

that we own the power of being the best versions of ourselves so what are we waiting for, we can create a better world by our best behavior towards the world.

Today, I decided to talk about self-empowerment that is a really important topic for discussion. Self-empowerment is taking control of our own life, setting goals, and making positive choices. Basically, it means that we have to understand our strengths and weaknesses, and have belief in ourselves.

For me, self-empowerment is standing up for my own beliefs, and executing actions around those beliefs, to the best of my ability. Also, for me, self-empowerment came from being determined and consistent to succeed, determined to achieve more in life, determined to do the right things and determined to overcome any challenges that come my way.

It’s okay to love yourself and care about you because you deserve it.

Much Love,
