Changed but not changed

I am the same as I was a year before.
My lips, nose, eyes, eyebrows, cheeks, and moles are all same as they were a year before.
What has changed is my inner self.
My emotions and feelings about people, places, and nature.
I am not at the same place as I was a year before.
Seeing me you can’t tell the difference between me(a year before) and me(now).
But the scars and bruises on my heart will tell you about the change that happened in one year.
You can’t see the experience and growth that have ingrown me in this one year.
This one year has given me pain, and heartbreaks.
And these heartbreaks and pain have made me stronger than I was a year before.
These have given me experiences that I had not before.
There is a story in every moment, every day, and every month of this one year.
But you can’t tell the change that has changed me in this one year.
Seeing me.
You can only say.
I am the same as I was a year before.

Me-time ❤️

Isn’t it really necessary to always do something?
Like sometimes we just wanted to spend time with ourselves doing nothing like no study, no task, no assignments, and no any work.
Just want to spend time with ourselves watching movies, reading books, eating, sleeping, writing, listening to music that brings us to the beautiful moments and memories we have ever spent with our loved ones.
Isn’t it so beautiful?
Isn’t it nice like really really nice not to care about work, study, and other chores? To not worry about anything just being free and spending *me-time*.
I think it is OKAY *sometimes* to pamper yourself doing things that you like that gives you inner peace. Things that give you satisfaction and real happiness. So, guys do something for you that gives you peace and satisfaction. Something that I can’t name it.

Hello guys,
I hope you all are fine. This is what comes to my mind and I have thoughts so I just write them down and wanted to share them with u all. If you wanna add something to it you’re welcome. ❤

The forty rules of love that articulate the real essence of life by Shams Tabrizi|Part-1

Hello everyone!

Have you ever heard about the 40 rules of love by Shams Tabrizi? Wait wait. If you have read the book The Forty Rules Of Love by Elif Shafak. I bet you are well aware of these 40 rules of love because Elif Shafak in her book has beautifully put the meaning of love, spirituality, and religion with the help of these 40 Rules.

If you are still unaware of these beautiful rules of love then don’t worry you will be known of it after reading this post.

Who was Shams Tabrizi?

Shams of Tabriz was a Persian Sufi and roaming dervish who lived at the end of the twelfth/ early thirteenth century. He was the spiritual teacher and advisor of Rumi, and indeed it’s often said that Rumi was a professor who Shams transformed into a mystic, a lover, and a poet. There are many legends describing their meeting in Konya: Rumi was taught by Shams in seclusion for 40 days, and the period after this is described as Rumi’s ‘mysticism’, where Sufis danced, played music (rabab), and drank wine. It is in this time, that the concept of “whirling dervishes” originated.

What are those 40 Rules Of Love?

One day, according to legend, Rumi was reading next to a large stack of books. Shams Tabriz, passing by, asked him, “What are you doing?” Rumi scoffingly replied, “Something you cannot understand” (i.e. knowledge that cannot be understood by the unlearned.) On hearing this, Shams threw the stack of books into a nearby pool of water. Rumi hastily rescued the books and to his surprise they were all dry. Rumi then asked Shams, “What is this?” To which Shams replied, “Mowlana, this is what you cannot understand” (i.e. knowledge that cannot be understood by the learned.) Shams’ forty observations about the nature of love and God, the first five of which are illustrated here, can be read together (fine but a bit left brain, a bit “learned” as Shams might say) or discretely, each a starting-point for reflection (more right brain, letting the mind wander laterally and make connections). Like life, and love, learning is not a race to the finish, but a voyage to the start.

☘ Rule No.1

How we see God is a direct reflection of how we see ourselves; we don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are. If God brings to mind mostly fear and blame, it means there is too much fear and blames welled inside us. If we see God as full of love and compassion, so are we.

☘ Rule No.2

The path to the Truth is a labor of the heart, not of the head. Make your heart your primary guide! Not your mind. Meet, challenge, and ultimately prevail over your nafs (false ego; self, psyche, soul) with your heart. Knowing your false ego will lead you to the knowledge of God.

☘ Rule No.3

You can study God through everything and everyone in the universe because God is not confined in a mosque, synagogue, or church. But if you are still in need of knowing where exactly His abode is, there is only one place to look for him: in the heart of a true lover.

☘ Rule No.4

Intellect and love are made of different materials. Intellect ties people in knots and risks nothing, but love dissolves all tangles and risks everything. Intellect is always cautious and advises, ‘Beware too much ecstasy’, whereas love says, ‘Oh, never mind! Take the plunge!’ Intellect does not easily break down, whereas love can effortlessly reduce itself to rubble. But treasures are hidden among ruins. A broken heart hides treasures.

☘ Rule No.5

Most of the problems of the world stem from linguistic mistakes and simple misunderstandings. Don’t ever take words at face value. When you step into the zone of love, language, as we know it becomes obsolete. That which cannot be put into words can only be grasped through silence.

These rules are really wonderful to understand the meaning of life, love, and to create a connection with God.
In this post, I have only written 5 of the 40 rules of love because I want you all to please read these rules and try to understand them. I don’t want to put 40 rules in my post at once but I will be posting them in the coming days. Don’t just like my post without reading it because I want you to increase your understanding of love and life through this post and of course these rules. First read them then give like if you really like my post.
I would love to listen to your recommendations, thoughts, and feedback regarding these rules.
Because everyone has it’s own perspective of looking at things. And I am sure each of us has a different meaning and different understanding of these rules.

I hope that together we can understand the meaning and real essence of life through 40 rules of love by Shams. ⭐⭐

Collect Moments not Things

Normally, I don’t make any resolutions but this time I decided to make one. As 2020 begins, I decided to make this year most special and beautiful one full of moments, joys, happiness and satisfaction. Instead of collecting material things, I decided to collect moments-that stays with us all the time in our memory.

We humans forget years but never forget moments.

Starting of this year was quite good. Well, January was giving me a feeling of never ending month because I completed most of the tasks and work related to my studies. But February is giving me a feeling of passing like a train. It’s going so fast. It seems like it started yesterday and it’s going to end tomorrow.
But I don’t care at what pace it’s going I will still gonna make every moment, every day, every month of this year the most ravishing and sparkling.
We usually spent our time and money on materialistic things. We buy expensive cloths, shoes, accessories and gadgets. Just because when we post our picture on instagram or any other social media account we would surely look dazzling and luxurious. I’m not saying that we all buy expensive things for just show-off but I believe this is the current situation of our society. Most of the people do this just for flattering other people rather making their precious moments of life entrancing.
This world and people in this world have been so much materialistic lately. They were also before but I feel like this thing has increased so far. I see almost many people doing things for making other people happy even when they’re not happy with what they’re doing But still they do.
So, Instead of spending my money on profligate things and my time on wasteful things I decided to buy experiences and blithe moments with affectionate people around me.

While you are alive collect moments not things, earn respect not money and enjoy love not luxuries.

–Aarti Khurana

From material things I meant our wants rather our needs.
Collecting moments is hundred times better then collecting things. Moments give you experiences that help us learn about ourselves and others. Surely, we learn something when we try to live in the moments. Along with it, moments are priceless you don’t need any money to buy the happiest and most satisfying moment of your life. You just have to give your attention wholeheartedly.
When we enjoy moments it create strong bonds with other people around us and we tend to know them and understand them. What can be more beautiful than having an understanding with your colleagues and friends.
Our moments never get old but our things get old with time. So, you see moments are really precious and have much more importance in our life rather material things. So, try to buy loving moments and wonderful experiences instead of things.

Fill your life with experiences, not things. Have stories to tell, not stuff to show.

So, Stay blessed and collect the moments.
Toodles ❤❤

Life is Hard but so very beautiful|A letter to life

Dear Life,

You’re a blessing for me even for all the human kind. ❤
I know sometimes I became so depressed and sad that I felt so worse. But now, I realized that what situations and circumstances you gave me was just for the betterment of myself. So, that I learn from them and get experience from those hard situations.
Sometimes you filled my days with happiness and nights with sadness and tears. But on the next day you gave me hope to live.
That hope is the cause that I’m living you life.
There were situation that made me feel worse and I said wrong words to you but that was because I was in anger.
What you did to me was always for my betterment and most importantly for the self-development.
I’m thankful to you for making me so strong, mature and experienced day by day.
And I want to say that you’re going too fast so to compete with you I have leaned to move fast.
I have also learned to let the things go. I don’t keep what’s not mine. Who will be mine will be with me. So, I’m happy and relaxed. Thank you so much for your opportunities and circumstances.
There are people around me and there existence make me feel so special and happy. Thank you for blessing me with such a wonderful people. Who sometimes let me know that not every one is your true friend so not to trust everyone.
I’m grateful to You! 😊

Your sincerely,

Step outside of your comfort zone, if you want to chase your dreams

I think everyone of us is familiar with the word Comfort Zone. For those who don’t know it’s a physiological state in which a person is at ease and comfort and where a perosn experience anxiety and stress level at low level. One can say that things are good you are at ease and comfort of your life.

But don’t you think this situation is not beneficial for our self-development. Like, if you want to achieve your dreams you have to suffer hard work, stress, pain and anxiety so, you should come out of your comfort zone. All this isn’t possible within your comfort zone.

A Comfort Zone is a beautiful place.

But nothing grows there. So, if You want to grow in your life come out of your comfort zone.

Things will be difficult at the beginning but as you go on. In the middle, you will feel much better and at the end surely you will be proud of being yourself.

Getting or achieving something isn’t east task. You have to face fear and anxiety ad you have yo get through all the difficulties to make your goals come true. For this you have to be strong, fearless, uncomfortable, rough, tough and courageous.

You have to step forward of your comfort zone to grow and to get experience in life. It is best for self-development.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

~Neale Donald walsch

Story|A mysterious train journey

A mysterious train journey

The sky above was full of darkness with wandering coppery clouds. It was a grey, unpleasant and sombre evening with the sky threatening rain. There was a long queue in front of the booking window. The passengers were waiting avidly for the train. Coolies were carrying heavy loads of luggage on their heads. When the train arrived there was a great scramble on the compartment doors.

The young lady was sitting in a compartment, wearing a black coloured gown. Her head was covered with a silk royal blue scarf and the face with a niqab (veil). Her eyes were as deep as the sea.

The guard flew the whistle and waved the flag then the train departed. There was waving of hands. The train left the station and the platform looked a deserted place.

Meanwhile, an older woman entered in the same compartment carrying a rusty-brown colour suitcase. She was covered with a black colour shawl.

“It’s looking that it’s going to rain outside,” after settling said the older woman.

“Are you travelling alone?”

“Yes!” replied the lady.

“I don’t get how people let their daughters travel alone, I’m with my son, he is sitting in the next compartment with male passengers,” said the older woman bluntly.

She continued, “I have heard about many rape cases. I never allow my daughters to go outside alone.”

The weather outside was bleak and brisk; the greasy off-white smoke was coming from train chimney making the atmosphere smoky and misty.

She continued, “You will not believe it! Once my sister told me a very mysterious and awful story. An 18-year-old girl in their neighbour was gang-raped and was found in the garbage.

Garbage – where we throw waste,” she stressed on the last sentence.

The lady gazed at the older woman with astonishment and disbelief. The compartment was getting cold. The glass window was now wrapped with fog and the view was blurry.

She continued, “Maybe the girl’s name was Zaira or might be Zainab.”

“Her name was Zara Ahmed,” told the lady interrupting the older woman.

“Oh, you’re right her name was Zara Ahmed. How beautiful her name was and how unfortunate she was,” said the older women in regret.

She added, “How you know the girl’s name?”

The lady replied, “That girl was my close friend.”

She added, “You only know the fragment of that story.”

Then that lady started narrating the story.

“It was a sunny afternoon. She was returning from her college. She was happy because she got an A+ grade in her exams and was very excited to tell her parents. On the way, someone put on a handkerchief on her mouth after smelling it, she fell down and suddenly someone carries her in a van. This whole happen in a blink of an eye that she doesn’t even try to defend her.”

The older woman was listening eagerly. There was a dark and beautifully serene view of the night outside. The rich Oakley aroma of cigarette smoke was pervading in the compartment.

The lady continued, “When the girl opened her eyes she found herself in a hospital. She was unaware of the incident that has changed the dimensions of her life. When she knew, she was regretting, tears were rolling down her cheeks. Everything was finished and her life was like a desert where there was no hope of blooming flowers. Luckily, her parents give her love, care, and support. After some time, she returns to normal life. Almost four years have passed to this incident, now, she is a social worker and working with a Women Rights Organisation.”

“She was really a strong girl,” said the older woman sadly.

“No doubt, she was a very sturdy and a courageous girl,” said the lady.

How fast the time passes both didn’t realize. It was midnight and still, it was extremely dark and cold outside.

The lady said, “My city is about to come.”

“Oh! my friend also lives in the same city which is about coming,” said the older woman.

“Your friend that told you about that awful story,” the lady confirmed.

“Yes that one,” said the older woman.

The lady gets ready for leaving the compartment.

“I really enjoyed your company,” said the lady.

“I also enjoyed your company, but how strange it is to spend almost half my journey with you and see you had not told me your name,” said the older woman.

“My name is Zara Ahmed,” told the lady after a long pause and move towards the compartment door.

Suddenly, something hits the older woman’s mind. There was complete silence like the world stopped for a second. Meanwhile, the train stamped the station and the lady walked out.
