The Road Not Taken

And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

– Robert Frost

A Moment Of Happiness…

A moment of happiness,

you and I sitting on the verandah,

apparently two, but one in soul, you and I.

We feel the flowing water of life here,

you and I, with the garden’s beauty

and the birds singing.

The stars will be watching us,

and we will show them what it is to be a thin crescent moon. You and I unselfed, will be together, indifferent to idle speculation, you and I. The parrots of heaven will be cracking sugar as we laugh together, you and I. In one form upon this earth, and in another form in a timeless sweet land.

Movie Review: The NoteBook 2004

“You are my best friend as well as my lover, and I do not know which side of you I enjoy the most. I treasure each side, just as I have treasured our life together.”

– Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook

Yesterday, I watched this movie- The Notebook and believe me It was super amazing and romantic. It is actually a book but I haven’t read the book but I have watched movie of it. It is best for those who like love stories and romance. So, I thought why don’t I let you people know about this. Maybe most people aren’t aware of this fabulous love story. So, guys if you haven’t watched this 2004 movie then go and watch it. Here, is the link of the movie: The Notebook 2004

I am sure you will love this movie and let me know in the comment box if you have already watched it. I would love to listen to your experience of this movie and about true love. 🙂

Synopsis:

A man with a faded, well-worn notebook open in his lap. A woman experiencing a morning ritual she doesn’t understand. Until he begins to read to her. The Notebook is an achingly tender story about the enduring power of love, a story of miracles that will stay with you forever. Set amid the austere beauty of coastal North Carolina in 1946, The Notebook begins with the story of Noah Calhoun, a rural Southerner returned home from World War II. Noah, thirty-one, is restoring a plantation home to its former glory, and he is haunted by images of the beautiful girl he met fourteen years earlier, a girl he loved like no other. Unable to find her, yet unwilling to forget the summer they spent together, Noah is content to live with only memories. . . until she unexpectedly returns to his town to see him once again. Allie Nelson, twenty-nine, is now engaged to another man, but realizes that the original passion she felt for Noah has not dimmed with the passage of time. Still, the obstacles that once ended their previous relationship remain, and the gulf between their worlds is too vast to ignore. With her impending marriage only weeks away, Allie is forced to confront her hopes and dreams for the future, a future that only she can shape. Like a puzzle within a puzzle, the story of Noah and Allie is just beginning. As it unfolds, their tale miraculously becomes something different, with much higher stakes. The result is a deeply moving portrait of love itself, the tender moments, and fundamental changes that affect us all. Shining with a beauty that is rarely found in current literature, The Notebook establishes Nicholas Sparks as a classic storyteller with a unique insight into the only emotion that really matters.

Happy International Women’s Day 2020

Dear all,

Women are the real asset of our society. If they are given equal opportunities they can be revolutionary. I have heard this sentence many times that “When a girl get educated then it can educate her whole family.” So, educating our girls and providing them quality education is dire need of this society. Girls who are strong and competent. We should always support them, who are willing to study and study higher, who have dreams but not hope. We should support them and help them in achieving their goals. Your few words of encouragement can brighten their lives. By spreading love, helping others and working together, we can create a better world. A peaceful and beautiful world.

Love,

Sadia Noor 🌸🌸
